Since the early 1900s International Women's Day has been a day to recognise women from all walks of life without regard to their national, ethnic, cultural or political differences and to celebrate their achievements around the world.

In 2013 Te Manawa will be celebrating the diversity of women in Palmerston North with a very special programme.

- REACT Big Girls Peace Parade;
- Big Girls welcoming ceremony and display at Te Manawa;
- Live music, performances, and films amplifying the voices of women and girls;
- Afternoon women's workshop-cafe;
- Women's stalls and retail.

Please contact natali.rojas@temanawa.co.nz if you, your group or organisation are interested in being part of this celebration.
