Easy, healthy Indian cooking with Sheree.

Have you always wanted to learn how to make a real Indian curry? Do you want to bring a little exotic flair to your next gathering with friends? Do you and your friends want to learn how to prepare simple, yet tasty Indian food?

Sheree, of Indian Cooking Classes, is now teaching easy Indian cooking at her cooking classes in Mount Albert Auckland. Sheree is the creator of www.IndianCookingClasses.co.nz, and she has built a loyal fan following over the past year. Her hobby has now turned into a passion and she hopes to pass on her knowledge on the Indian cuisine to fellow food enthusiasts.

What she offers:
Individual and Group (of up to 6) teaching sessions including customised and standard menu items.
Group Demonstration Classes for parties or social gatherings.

Beginners Class Menu (choose one):
1. Aaloo Tikki with chutney (potato cake with tamarind sauce);
2. Tarka Daal Chawal with onion tomato salad (ginger & garlic infused lentil & cumin rice);
3. Gajar Halwa (carrot sweet).

1. Pakora (onion bhaaji) Bite size pieces of onions crisp fried in a light batter;
2. Butter chicken with chappati/rice;
3. Shahi Tukra (Indian-style bread pudding).

1. Seekh kebab (roasted beef mince rolls);
2. Palak Paneer (spicy spinach cooked in cottage cheese);
3. Suji Halwa (semolina sweet).

Advanced class menu (please choose one):
1. Vegetable samosa
2. Chicken Karahi with chappati (chicken cooked with tomato, ginger and fresh coriander);
3. Saffron Kher.

1. Chicken Pakora (chicken cubes fried in lentil flour batter);
2. Bhuna Gosht (lamb curry);
3. Saffron Kher (saffron Rice Pudding).

1. Chicken boti (marinated chicken pieces baked in oven);
2. Lamb Biryani with Raita (boneless lamb pieces cooked with saffron rice);
3. Coconut Mithai.

Guided tour of Indian grocery store:
Guided tours of an Indian grocery store can also be done on special request. At least 2 people needed to organize a visit.
