Join Nobel Laureate Professor Peter Doherty for his 2013 free public lecture
'Human Wellbeing and the Challenges Facing Us'

Professor Peter Doherty is in New Zealand for Massey University’s celebration of 50 years of veterinary education and research. We are delighted to bring his free public lecture ‘Human Wellbeing and the Challenges Facing Us’ to you. He is a wonderful communicator of science and his presentation is sure to be informative and entertaining. His talk will traverse the topics: Viruses, vaccines, rapid air travel, and the greater risk of pandemic infections, the compromise of natural habitats as people grow more food and what can be done to protect all life forms on our planet.

Professor Peter Doherty is in New Zealand for Massey University’s celebration of 50 years of veterinary research and education and, we are delighted to bring this public lecture ‘Human Wellbeing and the Challenges Facing Us’ to you.
