The inquisitive case of Curiosity Roadshow returns to Museum of Wellington City & Sea on Sunday 24 November. Search the attics, the basements and even under the couch to find objects that will leave us baffled and intrigued. Share the secret stories of your object that will entertain, thrill and surprise us and even you.

Celebrate the quirky curios Wellington has to offer with Simon Manchester and Peter Wedde as they offer their expertise appraisal on each object. The entertaining duo investigate the how, why, when, who and what to solve the story behind each object. Book an appraisal for your curio - or come to check out what titillating bits and pieces are uncovered.

The expert appraisal event runs from 1:00pm to 3.30pm, however there are more events on the day that are worth checking out. From 12.30pm to 4pm, DJ78 will be taking tune requests as he spins 12 inch records at 78rpm on his beautiful gramophones. At 2pm the Sweet Adeline’s soften our hearts with songs of style, then from 12pm-2:30pm visit Conservation 101 as two skilled conservators from Te Papa examine your objects and advise you in the best care for them. Enjoy ice- cream and the exciting exhibits the Museum has to offer.
