Lazarus String Quartet was formed in 2009 by these graduates of the University of Canterbury. A scholarship in 2011 enabled them to appear at St Martin-in-the-Fields, in St James Piccadilly and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Amongst master classes, highlights have been those with András Schiff, Pinchas Zuckermann, Gautier Capuçon, Vadim Gluzman, David Takeno, and the Kopelman, Vermeer, Chilingirian, Kuss, Auryn and Doric string quartets. Following this tour of NZ they will return to study as a quartet in Berlin and Hanover.
