Celebrate the magic of Christmas with ‘MOTAT Nights, Christmas Lights’.

With more than 6,500 fairy lights strung throughout the MOTAT Historic Village and a large decorated Christmas tree, this annual event is a must-see for everyone in the lead up to the festive season and should form a part of all Christmas lights trails!

With sparkling lights in the Historic Village, live entertainment and music, night-time tram rides, Christmas displays and Christmas treats, including mulled wine available to purchase, you’ll have a truly magical evening with your family at MOTAT this December.

Special guests, the Variety Voices choir will be performing at the Sunday 22 December event of MOTAT Nights, Christmas Lights, really adding to the Christmas spirit.

Led by professional musician and composer James Doy, Variety Voices is a talented scholarship group made up of 30 singers aged from seven to 18.

The group get together weekly to create entertaining and inspiring performances and often sing at charitable causes at no cost.

Bring along the whole family and experience the festivities for only $2 per person, with all proceeds going towards children’s gifts for Variety – The Children’s Charity and the Auckland City Mission.
