Squirrel in oil pastels 1-day workshop.

Size: A3 canson acid free coloured paper.
Medium: caran d'ache neopastels & mungo (oil pastels).

Fees include: coloured canson paper, oil pastels, blender, step-by-step instructions, picture reference, morning & afternoon tea.

Class size: maximum 10 students.
Tutors: Richard & Diana Moore.

$50 deposit is required on registration.

Richard will be demonstrating techniques and taking you step by step through this oil pastel, by doing a picture at the same time. Both Diana and Richard will be working with each student on a individual basis, problem solving with you and ensuring you are completing each step successfully.

Here is a basic outline for the day. The times are approximate.

9am - Sketching drawing on paper with step by step instructions by Richard & Diana. Transfer image on to canvas using a simple technique;
10:30am - Morning tea with a selection of biscuits, tea or coffee;
10:45am - Drawing with oil pastels with step by step instructions;
12:30pm - Lunch;
1pm - Drawing with oil pastels with step by step instructions;
2:30pm - Afternoon tea with a selection of biscuits, tea or coffee;
2:45pm - Completing your oil pastel picture with detail;
4pm - sign picture.

These painting workshops are fantastic for those students who don't feel confident and whom also may of not had any previous art experience. No natural talent is required!

Every student will take an artwork home that they can be proud of.

The classes are fun and informal, with lots of encouragement and support from ourselves and the other students.

Bookings essential - limited spaces.

Everything is provided except your lunch. Lots of individual attention with 2 experienced teachers. Lots of easy techniques that are simple to apply.
