Each and every one of us has the sincere wish to avoid all suffering and problems permanently. Normally we try to do this by external methods, but no matter how successful we are from a worldly point of view – no matter how materially wealthy, powerful or highly respected we become – we shall never find lasting freedom from the suffering and problems of busy modern life.

In this talk, Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang will show how we can use Buddhist scientific methods to free ourself from the problems and stresses of modern life and how putting this advice into practice we can come to experience a deep lasting peace and happiness that cannot be disturbed by changing external conditions

This event will be based on teachings given in the book Modern Buddhism by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

This book is available as a free ebook download from: emodernbuddhism.com.

Everyone is welcome to attend this special event – the perfect way to ensure a peaceful Christmas and happy New Year.

The Teacher:
Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang is a Buddhist nun who is the Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition. She has been a student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 20 years and now travels extensively throughout the world teaching modern Buddhism.
