Four race series on the Lower Waimakariri. Ideal for those starting out in their racing career and for seasoned paddlers looking for some winter action.
The course runs down a 12km braided section of the Waimakariri River from The Pylons to the State Highway 1 Bridge with the ever changing braids of the Lower Waimak making for interesting racing.
With the new format there are 2 & 4 race series entry options as well as day entries available.

Logistical Details:
This time trial race will start in groups of three kayaks, at 30 second intervals, in numerical order. All competitors will sign a written race briefing at registration prior to starting the race, and must ensure they are recorded at the finish line. Series points are calculated from your 4 best results.
