Song and Solace come together at Futuna Chapel, Karori
Surround yourself in song and solace in the stunning environs of one of New Zealand’s most notable architectural and historical gems – Futuna Chapel in Karori.
The voices of Womansong, an all female choir, will sing you around the world in music at Futuna Chapel, Saturday 16 June, at 1pm. Lead by Carol Shortis, the programme for this concert brings together a rare mix of culturally specific songs and folk tunes from different parts of the world.
Womansong have performed at the Wellington Folk Festival, Wellington Folk Club, and at their own concerts in Newtown, as well as singing at a wide range of community events. They are delighted to add Futuna Chapel to their growing list of performance venues; join them at 62 Friend Street Karori on Saturday 16 June at 1pm for a concert to delight.
