Wintering is a collaboration between three Wellington folk musicians.
Hula Hope sings folk-pop about topics like charming men and abandoned villages. Merlin Webster sings blues folk, influenced by reggae and rockabilly. Jeremy Desmond brings the soul to the folk.
This project sees each contributing ideas, voice and instrumentation to each others' songs, creating a complete show which is alternately foot-stomping and heart-rending. Expect rich harmonies, story-telling, and merriment.
