Welcome to an evening of live music, showcasing some of New Zealand’s finest and most established musicians. Spanning across a multitude of genres, The World Bar invites you to put on your glad rags and be part of one of the Winter Festival's newest and most exciting additions.
We are very proud to announce a spectacular line-up of artists. After the apres party from George FM’s live boardcast from the bar, we kick off proceedings with the legendary DJ Downtown Brown. He will gently guide us into the sweet soulful sounds of Hollie Smith before the collaboration of Ahoribuzz (Aaron Tokona (Cairo Knife Fight), Riki Gooch (TrinityRoots / Eru Dangerspiel) on drums, soul sister LA Mitchell (Fly My Pretties, Sola Rosa) on vocals and keys and Aarons’ cousin Hori on bass) whisk you away to a groove you never knew you had. Olmecha Supreme are next to delight the ears with a fusion of reggae, jazz, blues and hip-hop which builds to a grand slam finish of NZ's most well-known and loved DJ Sir-Vere.
Whatever your flavour is, this night will blow all expectations.
