The much anticipated Wellington Fisher & Paykel MasterClass returns exclusively to Wellington for its second year. Some of the top chefs from the Southern Hemisphere will demonstrate their delicious recipes and let you in on their highly sought-after secrets.

As well as getting insider's secrets from internationally acclaimed top chefs, you will also have a great day of eating! We'll provide you will coffee at the beginning of the day, morning and afternoon tea and a delicious artisan lunch showcasing some of the very best ingredients and wine from the Wellington region. You'll head home with a goodie bag full of great items, including the Wellington Fisher & Paykel MasterClass recipe book to recreate masterpieces at home.

Who is on show?

Graham Brown
International ambassador for Cervena, Graham Brown is one of New Zealand’s most internationally respected chefs. Travelling the world, teaching, competing and creating for the past two decades, Chef Brown has worked alongside some of the great culinary luminaries.

Julie Le Clerc
Julie Le Clerc is an imaginative chef, cookbook author, food and travel writer and food stylist. Julie works internationally from her base in Auckland. Chef Le Clerc’s cookbooks introduce her style of colourful, uncomplicated food, vibrant with flavour and originality.

Shaun Clouston
Shaun Clouston is Head Chef and founding member of iconic Wellington restaurant, Logan Brown. Chef Clouston started at Logan Brown as sous chef in 1996 then worked for six years in Sydney restaurants before returning to Logan Brown in 2006.

Nadia Lim
Twenty-five year old Nadia Lim is the winner of Masterchef NZ 2011. She has published a cookbook called Nadia’s Kitchen that borrows from her Masterchef experience as well as her background as a dietician and nutritionist.

Michael Meredith
Samoan-born Michael Meredith has won multiple awards including the 2009 Supreme Winner of the Metro Audio Restaurant Award and the 2011 Cuisine NZ Restaurant of the Year. He is the owner of Auckland’s Meredith’s restaurant.

Rex Morgan
Rex Morgan is Head Chef of Wellington’s Boulcott Street Bistro. New Zealand Beef & Lamb Ambassador, culinary judge, TV personality and menu designer for Air New Zealand Business Premier, Chef Morgan also won Best Restaurant of the Year at his former restaurant – Citron.

Ruth Pretty
Leading New Zealand chef, caterer, teacher and food writer Ruth Pretty is known for fresh, delicious, imaginative New Zealand cuisine, whether it is served for an event in New Zealand or in an international setting.

Jonny Schwass
Owner of Christchurch’s Restaurant Schwass, Chef Schwass has received local, national and international recognition and was a three time finalist in Cuisine Restaurant of the Year. Although his restaurant was destroyed in the Christchurch earthquake he continues to work tirelessly to rebuild his restaurant’s future.

Ben Shewry
New Zealand born Ben Shewry is Head Chef of Melbourne restaurant Attica. Named Best New Talent by Australian Gourmet Traveller in 2008, Top 20 Rising Stars 2010 by Food & Wine Magazine, he is one of the most innovative chefs in the world.
