The doors are about to open and we're very excited to present New Zealand’s newest and most innovative museum experience.
It's all about the people of Dunedin and their stories from the earliest settlers through to those who have recently arrived.
Embark on a journey through the new Museum where pioneer thinking meets 21st century creativity.

11.30am - Kia Orana Performing Arts
A popular, Pasifika music and dance group not to be missed. Loud, colourful, rhythmic and thoroughly entertaining!
12.30pm - Salsa Moves Dance Studios
Enjoy a short and sharp Latin dance performance by these passionate pioneers of salsa.
1.00pm - The Natyaloka School of Indian Classical Dance
Travel back in time and experience the only dance school in Dunedin teaching Indian traditional dance forms, Bharathanatyam and Mohiniyattam.
1.30pm - Sixties-Plus Entertainment Group
An inspiring performance by a local group performing some war time (WWII) songs.
2.00pm - Araunde Capoeira Dunedin
A Brazilian cultural expression incorporating music, dance and martial arts.
2.30pm - Dunedin Philippine Club Inc
Watch some traditional Filipino dance in the new Museum.
3.30pm - The Highland Dance Company of New Zealand (Regional Group)
Formed in 2011, this top level group of dancers are proud to fling and sure to please.

11.30am - Otago Southland Chinese Association Lion Dance Team
This traditional Chinese Lion dance brings good luck and fortune with acrobatics and live drumming.
12.30pm - Polish Heritage of Otago and Southland
Cultural performance including violin recital and traditional dance.
1.30pm - Irish Beat
Irish step dance combining traditional dance and music with contemporary and modern arrangements.
2.30pm - Images of the Past
A delightful costume parade of Victorian and Edwardian fashion taking you back in time.
3.30pm - O Taiko Japanese Drumming Group
Powerful Japanese taiko drumming, full of beats, movements and drumming.
