Toioho ki Mangere features the work of students from Te Pūtahi a Toi. Working on the theme of mana tangata, the artists express their individual responses to contemporary issues including religion, mana Māori and tradition. Their processes range from video to installation, painting and relief sculpture.
Artists in the exhibition are: Joshua Campbell, Waimarie Hunt, Erana James, Karangawai Marsh, Michelle Nichols, Jermaine Reihana, Bridget Reweti, Terri Te Tau, Rongomaiaia Te Whaiti and Janelle Wilson.
Opening 8 June 6pm.
