The Haze

Come along for a great night of live music, just $5 on the door (all ages). This nightclub has an awesome atmosphere with free pool and foosball, a great sound system and cheap drinks and snacks.

The Haze are the youngest working band in Christchurch. Amongst other achievements, they won the TV2 Erin Simpson Show Band Battle, were the band to see at the A&P show and their lead singer was a soloist at Christmas In The Park 2011.

Thomas Coffey and the Grinders are a very successful band. They recently released their album "Dominoes" and have made a rocking music video of their first single "So Hot Right Now".

Lupus Lunar is a Christchurch rock quintet fronted by Dylan Hawes, Ari Freeman and Chris Noël. Their wailing guitars and close harmony singing sit over the solid rhythmical backbone of bassist Nick Vasser and drummer Steve Howden. Together this high energy act have gained attention in the local scene with their catchy melodies and tight arrangements. They draw influence from the Beatles, Chicago Blues and '90s alternative rock. They term their sound: 'Earworm Rock'.

“…The Haze, a young Christchurch rock band that has already performed to wide acclaim. The Haze are definitely ones to watch.” - Vicki Anderson - 12/06/11 The Press, Acts You Need To Know About

“They’re clearly having a lot of fun and there is more to being in a band than just the music, it’s the camaraderie and there’s bucket loads of that… These guys are doing amazingly well… They’re definitely going to be ones to watch.” - Jason Kerrison – Op Shop – TV2 National Band Battle Judge
