Imagine being able to hang out with: Albert Camus, Maurice Sendak, Stephen King, Oscar Wilde, Stieg Larsson, Ernest Hemingway?... just to name the few...

Come and let Jai, Anna, Michelle, Michael, Jerry, Jeremy, Gus, Leigh, Laurice and Caitlin to transport you - via their imagination into the words and worlds of some of the most imaginative minds of all times. Come and witness the history being "changed" and your perception of what is being challenged, via live responses of our guests to
... push the borders and break the barriers
... go beyond that first page

Printable Reality's brief provided to the artists:
One evening Mr Dostoevsky wrote a first page of what would have been one of the best known novels in history... in the morning he concluded that it was not good enough, decided not to write that novel - but to write a poem based on that first page that he wrote the previous night.

You chose your most (or least) favourite book (anything: prose, poetry, biography, science, front page of a newspaper the day before a significant day in history), and "take out" that first page, be that writer that morning and write...

Come to this exclusive first sharing of the material by some of the most prominent local writers/poets/spoken word artists.

Caitlin Smith will enchant you with her music and The Library Bar is preparing drink and food specials for The First Page guests.
