A.D. Miller’s first novel Snowdrops (2011) shot him to instant fame with a short listing for the Man Booker Prize.

A portrait of moral decline in Moscow, Snowdrops draws us into a city of neon lusts and frenetic sin, a city that “gleams with strip joints, call girls, malevolent overlords, fraudsters, overnight millionaires; but in which the old beg on snowy streets” (The Independent).

To write the book, Miller drew on his three years as Moscow correspondent for The Economist.

He talks fiction with writer, reviewer and blogger Stephen Stratford (Quote Unquote).
