The film that is so funny it was banned in Norway - Monty Python’s Life of Brian (1979) is set to grace the Silo Cinema. Beginning a weekend of Queen’s Birthday celebrations, this utterly British comedy will have you in stitches. It’s a comedy classic, a religious satire that tells the story of Brian Cohen, a Jewish man born next door and on the same day as Jesus. Hilarity ensues as he’s always mistaken for the Messiah. Offensive, sure. Funny, certainly.

Join us for the film screening at 8pm, which, as always is preceded by the offerings of our food vendors - from churros to pizza and everything in between. The container bar will be open from 5pm, serving a fine selection of local wine, craft beer, and for winter - mulled wine.

The illustrious Lia Kent and Hannah Sarney grace the wheels of steel, and our high-tech hot water bottle filling station will be ready to go.

Bring blankets, friends and deckchairs - this event is family friendly and the ideal way to kick off the last long weekend for months. See you there!
