Dive in to Auckland Zoo and join us in celebrating Seaweek 2012 from Monday 5 March to Sunday 11 March.

'One Ocean - Too Much Love? Turn the Tide' is the year's theme, and the Zoo has fun activities and marine-themed keeper encounters happening throughout the Zoo for all ages, school groups, families and individuals to enjoy.

The Zoo's entry plaza will feature the Sustainable Coastlines Education Station (5 - 9 March). This cool walk-in shipping container is one of a number of places you can find out about New Zealand's vast coast, and how you can get involved and be a kaitiaki (guardian) for our stunning marine environment and its awesome animals and plants.

Our vet centre (NZCCM), Kidzone, Te Wao Nui's The Coast and Conservation Centre (next to The Forest) are other Seaweek hot spots to explore as you journey through the Zoo.

For a whale of a tale, don't miss a visit to the NZCCM where you can find out about the vet team's recent forensics work on a Bryde's (Broo-dahs) whale, and discover what oiled bird feathers look like under a microscope.

At Te Wao Nui's Conservation Centre, Wai Care and the Zoo's Discovery and Learning educators will be running six different interactive activities.

Download your Seaweek 2012 trail here and bring it into the Zoo (Monday, 5 March to Sunday, 11 March): http://www.aucklandzoo.co.nz/media/843943/seaweek_2012_trail.pdf
