In conjunction with the 2012 Garden & Artfest, Bay of Plenty Polytechnic invites you to a free special event showcasing the best work of our graphic design, art, fashion, music and radio students.
The festival pivots around a colourful fantasy garden on the roof of our city-based Bongard Centre.
Free entry to garden and art displays. Open 10am - 4pm, Monday to Sunday. Onsite cafe with the best views in town!
Monday, 5 November - 5-7pm
Opening night: Year 2 Diploma in Art exhibition, live music by Cicada Circus (Diploma in Music student band), art shop (perfect spot to pick up those early Christmas presents) plus the craziest garden you'll ever see!
Friday, 9 November - 6-10pm
Music on the Rooftop: Anna Coddington presents her unique musical combination of quirky indie pop with elements of acoustic balladry in an intimate concert. Anna will be joined by Black Seeds guitarist, Ned Ngatae. Tickets available from TicketDirect, $25.
Saturday, 10 November - 8-10pm
Infuse Fashion Show: basement runway show featuring national competition winning garments and final collections from the Year 2 Diploma in Design (Fashion) and Year 3 Bachelor of Design students. Tickets $20, available from Bay of Plenty Polytechnic Information Centres at Bongard Centre or Windermere Campus.
