28 April to 2 June.
Rohana Weaver is an emerging artist whose work examines the complexities of modern transient identity.
This series of works draws upon the traditions of the folk arts of quilt making, stories and songs, utilising traditional quilt patterns and folk narratives as a connection to European cultural history in a transient global world.
Drawing on the visual musicality of op art, reflective road sign tape is combined with quilt patterns and exotic animals to explore the evolution and performance of social roles and transient identities.
