K+Lab Live Show (Junk Food/Skanky Panky)
From the land of the long white cloud, taniwhas and Hobbits (NZ) lives a party rocker by the name of K+Lab. Combining a love of block rocking hip hop breakbeats with skull shaking basslines and a fist full of funk, the K+Lab sound has spread to dancefloors across the globe.
Since picking up a guitar at the age of 10 he's been hooked on making noise and hasn't looked back, self taught on drums, keys, bass, synths and samplers K+Lab is now most comfortable in his studio at the bottom of the world. He's now released over 30 tunes on well respected labels Simplify (USA), Skanky Panky (UK), Empathy Records (NZ), Glitch N Chop (NZ) and his own imprint Junkfood recordings (www.junkfood.co.nz) regularly charting in the beatport glitch hop and hip hop top 10.
The last few years has seen him dish up banging sets of originals, remixes and the best in glitch hop allowing him to complete Australian and New Zealand tours and perform at festivals La De Da, Splore, Soundscape and many more. Currently working on his full length album, K+lab is set to take his sound around the globe with his MPC style Live show with U.S, Can and Euro tours in the works.
