Based on an incredible true 19th century story about the independent state of Hawaii which is on the brink of being usurped by America. Princess Ka'iulani – the "Barbarian Princess" - the heir to the throne of Hawaii fights back - assisted by her English aristocratic lover – Thurston.

An epic tale of royalty and romance where Princess Ka'iulani has to eventually choose between love and destiny!
