This course is geared towards people who want to get the very best results from their cameras. It's particularly suited to people new to digital SLRs who want to move beyond the auto modes and gain full creative control of their photography.

Amongst other things you'll learn about exposure and how to capture the best light, understand depth of field and the differences and uses of aperture and shutter priority.

Learn about:
Manual mode
Capturing motion
Creative blur
The different metering and auto focus modes
Understanding your lens

You'll also gain an insight into digital photography, the difference between RAW and JPEG, how to set white balance, how to read the histogram and adjust your exposures to get the very best results back from your camera.

Our aim is that every delegate will leave our Photography Short Course with the confidence to apply their new skills effectively in the real world. That's why we continue to help you after your class with 6-months free email support.

We're so committed to your understanding of photography that we offer an exclusive course repeat. That means if there is any concept or idea that you haven't fully understood we invite you to repeat the course within 6 months completely free of charge.

The morning session is studio based, focusing on how to use your camera. The afternoon's walking tour provides an ideal opportunity to sharpen up your photographic skills by practicing some of the techniques we've covered.

At the end of this session you'll leave armed with a full understanding of your camera and its settings, better equipped to take your photography to the next level and beyond.
