An evening with Nigel Latta - Why we're all deluded, bigoted, biased, violent and prone to believing odd things
We aren't who we really think we are and in this seminar, which amongst other things traverses 4 billion years, several continents, angry cats, toasted cheese sandwiches, and ghosts, Nigel will reveal some surprising truths about happiness and human suffering. In addition he will also explain why the invention of the printing press makes it so hard to get your shopping done, and show you how with a few simple techniques you can utilise the natural memory processes of a brain that evolved to hunt and gather to remember all those pesky passwords that we need to survive the modern world.
Please note - tickets go on sale 5 June 2012
Held in the Teachers College Auditorium on Union St East.
