The Wednesday Nelson farmers' market is based on supporting local, fresh and seasonal produce and products made by locals for locals (and everyone else!). There are great prices and bargains to be found with maximum freshness and taste because you know it has been picked by hand at the height of ripeness. Come down and support your local growers and producers and help them support you in your local community.

We have fresh vegetables and fruit including organic, cheese, eggs, olives, oils, local meat, salamis, and fish - both smoked and fresh, honeys, sweet treats and marshmallows, nuts and flowers, sauces, bread, bars and baking including gluten free, sprouts, plants and herbs including organic so you can do it your self in your own place and the seasonal produce (ie asparagus, strawberries, peonies, peaches, cherries etc!

As you wander through the market, choosing your fare, we may have a showcase of local buskers, face painters, dancers, or pumpkins to entertain you. And if you haven't filled up on the visual feast there is a wonderful selection of delicious food to tempt you, from German sausages, marinated sea food, Italian pasta, Mexican wraps, and waffles or cake, all locally made for you which you can enjoy with a coffee from either Columbus or Morrison St Cafes within Fashion Island.

Ask advice directly from the growers, doers and movers. Talk to the people creating a better world and selling directly to you, no middleman therefore lower prices, fresher produce and friendly faces. Come down, it will be great to see you!
