ecostore, alongside two leading experts in health and wellbeing, will host an evening for “all mothers and daughters, aunties and nieces, young women and their fairy godmothers”.

The evening will be packed with rich information and tips to help make simple healthier choices everyday. Alongside Malcolm Rands from ecostore will be two experts in the field of nutrition, fitness and skin care, Lee-Anne Wann and Dr Vincent Crump.

The inaugural event is in response to the increasing hype of marketing messages out there. “There’s just so many people wanting to cut through the hype to know what’s really good for them in terms of their health and beauty." says ecostore co-founder Melanie Rands. "I think many people will be surprised by what they learn.”

Some of the topics that will be covered include:
- Food as fuel;
- Secrets to toning and targeting challenging spots in record time;
- Skin care starts at home;
- Maintaining naturally beautiful skin ;
- Buyer beware: ‘natural’ doesn’t always mean healthy;
- Environmental toxicity: the impact on health and weight management.

Lee-Anne Wann is a fitness specialist, presenter & author, best known as the tough trainer on the hit Television Series 'Downsize Me'. She stands for “honesty and uncomplicated approaches to life's challenges.” She is an evangelist for empowerment, simplicity, getting the basics right and real world effectiveness and efficiency.

Dr. Vincent Crump is a skin doctor specialising in allergies and substances that can be harmful to the skin. A keynote speaker himself, Dr Vincent often presents on behalf of the Auckland Allergy Clinic to educate people on how to maintain healthy skin.

Malcolm Rands started the ecostore brand out of a need to provide healthy alternatives to the harmful products we use in everyday life. He has been awarded the Green Ribbon Award from the Ministry for the Environment and the New Zealand Sustainable Business of the Year in 2010. Malcolm rides shotgun to wife and ecostore co-founder Melanie and daughters Ahi and Keva Rands.
