Based on the short story by Franz Kafka and adapted for the stage by Steven Berkoff.

Stunning, vibrant, alive. This is theatre not to be missed, and best of all, it's 100% local.

Kelly Johnson played the role of Gregor Samsa in the NZ premiere and returns to the role today with his own theatre company. Robert Pollock, Sarah Pratt and Alex Hannam play the Samsa family while Brian Satterfield takes the role of the Chief Clerk.

Together they create a vivid emotional journey, complete with dark humour and poignant tragedy.

"One morning, as Gregor Samsa was waking up from anxious dreams, he discovered that in bed he had been changed into a monstrous verminous bug..." - Franz Kafka
