Hikoi up Maunga Whau (Mt Eden) with archaeology curator Louise Furey, tangata whenua Pita Turei, and Volcanologist Jan Lindsay.
Wananga Rongoa: Medicinal Plants
Saturday 30 June, 11am-1pm.
Hikoi to Takaparawhau (Bastion Point) to Te Pukaki Ecological Restoration Project with botany curator Ewen Cameron, tangata whenua Char Wiapo and rongoa specialist Rob McGowan.
Wananga Puoro: Instruments
Saturday 7 July, 11am-1pm.
Hikoi around Te Wao Nui native bird sanctuary at Auckland Zoo with curator Maori Chanel Clarke, tangata whenua Bernard Makoare and taonga puoro specialists Rewi Spraggon and Riki Bennett.
Nga Korero Tataki: Winter Lecture Series
Thursday 28 June, 12 July & 19 July, 7-9pm, Te Korowai Room entrance via Grand Foyer
Leadership Discussions on Indigenous Sustainability. A lecture series with key-note speakers focusing on prominent and relevant discussions through the lens of Maori and indigenous intellectual and spiritual thinking. Numbers limited.
