A monthly business meeting with top speakers in a variety of industries and the topic will be leadership. The mission is to help create great leadership. The vision is to empower, motivate, encourage and challenge us to step into a new dimension of leadership.

Venue is behind the ANZ.

Event includes networking and breakfast, speaker and questions.

The Speaker: Mr Paul O’Brien - CEO EasiYo Products Limited.
Topic: “Family Chaos to Corporate Leadership in 18 Months”.

Paul O’Brien is the CEO of Easiyo Products, the world’s largest make-at-home yogurt brand. Prior to this, Paul was the CEO of Good Health Products, another North Shore healthcare exporter. Paul has held senior positions in healthcare for over 25 years, and in all companies leadership, strategy planning and export development were strongly evident. In 2010 Paul took over Easiyo from the founding family and discovered leadership and strategy planning needed an urgent overhaul, so a rapid change management programme was undertaken.

Highlights of this initiative include:
- Winning the Air NZ Cargo Exporter award in 2011;
- Winning the North Shore Business Awards Supreme Category in 2010;
- Winning the Natural Products Exporter of the Year award in 2010;
- Finalist in this year’s NZ Trade and Enterprise awards (winner announced on 21st March);
- Promoted to Westland Milk Products Senior Leadership team in 2010;
- On track to double sales since 2010 to $50m in 4 years;
- Currently exporting $30m worth of NZ nutritional products around the world;
- Sales have increased 30% in NZ last year, yet the chilled yogurt category increased in value only 7%;
- Launched in Italy last year and grew sales from $0 to $4m in under 12 months, despite being advised not to enter the EU.
