A monthly business meeting with top speakers in a variety of industries and the topic will be leadership. The mission is to help create great leadership. The vision is to empower, motivate, encourage and challenge us to step into a new dimension of leadership.

The speaker: Andrew Harris - Director and Owner of Blackcat Consulting, “Cosmic Leaders and the Solar System of Talent” - “Every successful leader is a good entrepreneur”.

Andrew Harris Andrew is a Director, Owner & Senior Consultant within Blackcat Consulting Ltd, with responsibility for handling client assignments at manager to senior manager level. Andrew has worked in executive recruitment for over 15 years, having graduated with a First Class Honours in sociology with psychology from Leeds University, and successfully completed a Postgraduate Diploma in human resource management.

Prior to setting up his own consultancy firm, Andrew was Group HR Manager for one of Europe’s largest printing companies, handling senior appointments at Group Board and Subsidiary Board level. In his capacity as Regional HR Director for a leading international accountancy firm, Andrew was asked to define the competency standards required for admission into partnership and was closely involved in the partner assessment & development programmes. In addition, he was instrumental in designing & delivering bespoke assessment centres utilising psychometric and personality profiling tools.

He has worked extensively with individuals aspiring for career advancement, and has been instrumental in organising international secondments within the UK, Australasia, Europe, USA, Caribbean, Africa and Asia. His most recent assignments have included working with Global IT companies, technology-based business continuity providers and credit management software publishers.

Positions handled included IT Systems Integrator, Cloud Services Specialist, Sales Manager - Software, Country Manager - Enterprise Search Specialists. He has been actively involved in Rotary, Institute of Directors, HRINZ, Chamber of Commerce and CIPD. He is passionate about seeing companies achieve profitable growth and helping business professionals attain their true career potential.
