Kihikihi International Horse Trial is where champions meet. Catch top horses and rider combinations battling it out in dressage, cross-country and show-jumping phases at one of New Zealand's major equestrian sporting events.

In 2012, the Kihikihi International Horse Trial will host the Senior TransTasman Teams Competition, the first time this contest has come to the Waikato. This will be an epic battle between the best Australasian event riders ahead of the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

There is something for everyone with live music, a trade and food village and even an obstacle-course fun-run over the cross-country route.

Friday 6 April: Dressage;
Saturday 7 April: Cross-country;
Sunday, Show-jumping, fun run and live entertainment.
