Award-winning Nelson artist Jewel Mathieson is bringing her much anticipated sled dog exhibition, "Born To Run", to Invercargill this June.

It will be on site at the Southland Sled Dog Association's Sandy Point Scarper for the duration of the racing, so will prove to be a fabulous weekend out! Many of the dogs featuring in the exhibition will be racing during the weekend so you will get to see them in art and in action!

The exhibition will be held on Saturday afternoon from 3pm onwards until the end of the racing and on Sunday Morning from 9am onwards until the racing has finished.

Jewel will also be available all weekend to talk about pet portrait commissions, so come along, say hello, and check out the action! I hope to see you there!

It will be held at the Scout Camp site, Fosbender Park, signposted from Dunns Road, Invercargill.
