This event is to raise funds to assist Megan Jenkins with the final element of her Girl Guiding Queens Guide Award. She has been working towards this for more than four years. To complete her award she has to organise and lead a party of six on an Exploration or Expedition.
Her family are very supportive in her endeavours and want her to succeed, however her mother is a single parent who is also looking after her youngest son who has speech, learning and behavioural difficulties, hence the Mt Maunganui Freemasons' efforts to help a young lady to succeed. There will be 15 to 20 tables displaying everything from “big boys toys” such as archery equipment to TVs, right down to magic tricks for kids and adults alike.
Come along and support a worthy cause and pick up a bargain or two. There will be a sausage sizzle, refreshments, and kids’ entertainment. See you there.
