Five Mile Town, Nairobi Trio

Young indie/folk band Five Mile Town have announced a mini-tour of New Zealand/Australia on the back of the success of their self titled debut EP, and their very popular music video/ for the debut single ‘Saturated’.

The band is going on tour in New Zealand with support from jazz/blues aficionado’s Nairobi Trio, and are scheduled to play in Australia at the end of June

June 22nd: Old St Paul’s Cathedral, Mulgrave Street, Wellington CBD from 7pm;
June 23rd: The Carterton Events Centre, Carterton, from 7pm;
June 30th: The Oxford Art Factory - Sydney, Australia from 8pm;
July 1st: The Oxford Art Factory - Sydney, Australia from 8pm;
July 6th-July 8th: Napier, various venues;
Late July: Auckland - venue and date TBA.

The show opens with Five Mile Town’s more reflective songs off the EP, segues to Nairobi Trio’s terrific jazz ensemble, and concludes with a solid set of Five Mile Town’s newer upbeat indie/folk/pop material.

All in all, a fantastic show with wildly talented New Zealand musicians.
