Madhatters Dinner Party: 3 courses includes hors d'oeuvres, main course prepared by Nelson top chef, Grant Dikker, and dessert. Entertainment by the Ukes of Hazard. Wear your craziest hat and compete for a prize. BYO drinks. Location: Kerr Bay activities marquee or in Community Hall if wet.

No festival can claim a backdrop like ours! Staged around Kerr Bay, Lake Rotoiti and where the regions Marlborough, Nelson/Tasman meet this premiere 'Festival of the Lake' will showcase our unique region. With family style activities and entertainment there will be lots for you to experience.

Plan to stay the night to enjoy the range of land-water-air activities.

The festival includes: farmers' market on Saturday with competitions, a colourful arts, crafts and artifacts market on Sunday, each with a range of products from the Top of the South. Dinner Madhatters Dinner Party with entertainment, prepared by NZ Beef & Lamb Ambassador / Nelson top chef Grant Dikker ( limited number of tickets available), a Treasure Hunt, 4WD expedition with DoC botanist (BYO vehicle) & 4WD tour to the Red Hills, sightseeing flights, informative walks & talks, entertainment for children & adults, buskers, Open Air film ' The Five Pennies' on Saturday evening.
Bring a picnic or enjoy a range of food from Tophouse Historic Hotel, Alpine Lodge, the General store or the farmers' market ( Saturday only).
Event will be located in the Community Hall if wet.
