The Kauri Museum

An emotive exhibition of stitching and poetry in partnership with Hospice Kaipara.

The exhibition depicts a mother's (Sue McLean) tumultuous journey of grief following the untimely death of her 18 year old son. Sue's 15 year old daughter Rhiannnon coped with her older brother's death through poetry.

Photographs of the stitching and the poetry has been captured in a publication and is available from The Kauri Museum Shop. Part proceeds from this will be donated to Hospice Kaipara.
