Presenter John Cowan and youth specialist Dave Atkinson, in conjunction with Vodafone, have developed Connected, a presentation for parents to help their kids get the most from modern technology."Top of the list, we want kids to be safe", says Dave. "Cyber-bullying is brutal – it genuinely wrecks some kids. And, without wanting to be alarmist, there really are creeps on the internet who are desperately trying to lure kids into 'real-world' contacts. Our kids need protection. This presentation will bring parents up to speed."

Parents remember a time before mobile phones and home computers – but kids can't. Their world is digital: entertainment, learning and socialising is done through phones, computers and other gadgets. Kids live in a connected world. They know technology and they love it. They are the first generation that have to show their parents how to do things!
