Botany Town Centre has a host of activities this holiday season to help lift the spirit of Christmas and secure local children’s place on the nice list.

On Saturday 24 November, Botany will be visited by a very special Santa – a singing and dancing Santa! Starting from Cock & Bull restaurant at 11am on Town Centre Drive, Santa will be making his way around Botany in a dancing parade, picking up other colourful Christmas characters around the centre. Shoppers are encouraged to join the parade and participate in the festivities.

Botany also has the wrap on Christmas activities with creative gingerbread decorating and Christmas ornament craft stations in Town Square until 3:00pm. Children will be able to take their decoration home, or hang it with pride on the Botany Christmas Tree. There are also fun life-size elf cut-outs for a seasonal photo with family.

For children who want to secure their place on the ‘nice list’, Santa will be handing out evaluation cards from his grotto to complete over the Christmas period. Children who are photographed with Santa will be asked to perform five good deeds to earn a place at the V.I.C (Very Important Child) party. The good deeds can be small or large, from doing the dishes, washing the car or volunteering at a charity. Once each of the five deeds is signed off by a parent or guardian, the form must be returned to the Botany Town Centre information desk by 9 December 2012.

The first 150 benevolent children to return the form at the Whitcoulls Kids Zone will receive an invite to the most exclusive party of the season – the V.I.C party. Held in the Conservatory near Santa’s Grotto on Saturday 15 December at 8.00am, the V.I.C party will reward the nice list children with an exclusive party.
