Bach Musica NZ is proud to present the world premiere of The Christchurch Vespers, dedicated to the earthquake victims of the city. This piece has been specially written by New Zealand composer Andrew Perkins. This composition includes a full symphony orchestra together with solo soprano, Gina Sanders and the Bach Musica choir.
Mozart Piano Concerto K543 in G Major is performed by Grace Francis who is now in her third year of a Bachelor of Music under Rae de Lisle. She was the 2010 PACANZ National Young Performer of the Year, and a finalist in the 2010-2011 Christchurch National Concerto Competition. She has performed with the Aotea Youth, Auckland Youth, Auckland Philharmonia, Southern Sinfonia, Manawatu Symphony and Nelson Symphony Orchestras, and holds a Diploma of ABRSM with one of the highest scores ever achieved in New Zealand.
