Today’s busier, and faster society, away from extended family, is waging an undeclared war on childhood. To bring up children, to prepare them for adulthood can only be successfully undertaken if there is some basic knowledge of what an adult human being essentially is.

Join us as we discover and explore topics such as:
Human development as a process, child and human development, the three and four fold human being, explorations from death to rebirth, the child’s changing consciousness, the child as a sense being and the twelve senses, creative discipline and education of the will, the spiritual task of the homemaker, nutrition for young children, home nursing, the importance of fever, festival celebration in the home and the creation of season tables, the importance of wonder and reverence, the four temperaments and the soul types, the importance of play and creating a free range childhood, coping with computers and TV in the home, story telling and Steiner Education.

Furthermore we will endeavour to fill your kete with various arts, crafts and skills. This course hopes to incorporate what lives within the group of participants, attempting to make it relevant to the needs of parents.
