The California Youth Symphony is undoubtedly one of the finest youth orchestras in the world. They have been touring internationally for 20 years and New Zealand is the destination for 2012!

In Christchurch they have joined forces with the Christchurch Youth Orchestra. This concert requires a gold coin donation for admission. The CYS are proudly raising much needed funds in aid of the Christchurch Earthquake. The money will go towards the Christchurch School of Music Support Trust in aid of the Arts in Christchurch.
