Bijin-ga literally translates as 'Beautiful Person Picture', but is a common term for woodcut prints of beautiful women of the Ukiyo-e genre.

This exhibition features several different Japanese masters dating between 1790 and 1870 - the period in which the 'floating world' of Edo (Tokyo) was at it's zenith.
