This is a wonderful adaptation of the story of a girl who wants only a single red rose and ends up the captive of an enchanted Beast! It is set in a magical forest full of fairies and also in the humble home of Beauty, her self-centered sister Rapella and her bankrupt father. Add Pierre, an affluent but undesirable suitor, and a Fairy Queen with a grudge to the mix of characters and you have all the ingredients of a transfixing tale.
This retelling is complete with wonderful songs, enchanting dances, and exciting sword-brandishing action!
