Bodh Gaya Buddhist Centre is now located in Kelburn, just a few steps away from the Kelburn Shopping Centre, with bus stop just outside and 10 minutes walk from the top of Wellington Cable Car. Weekly Meditation and Buddhism Classes at the centre will start from Monday 28th May, presented by Resident Teacher, Kelsang Pagma. The three week course at the centre is called "Be Happy" and based on the book "Eight Steps to Happiness" by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the author of a series of highly acclaimed books. It reveals methods to improve our qualities of love, compassion and wisdom; and how to transform all our adversities into causes of pure and lasting happiness.

Everyone is welcome to attend these classes regardless of previous experience of meditation or Buddhism. Each week, a new method will be clearly explained. Start any week. There is no need to book or bring anything. Each class includes guided meditations, teaching and discussion, followed by refreshments.

The first introduction class on Monday 28th May will be free.
