The Auckland Symphony Orchestra teams up with Auckland church choirs in its annual Christmas Celebration.
The 80-strong orchestra, conducted by Peter Thomas, will perform favourite Christmas music and provide backing - along with Holy Trinity Cathedral Director of Music Tim Noon playing the Town Hall organ - for a mass carol performance involving the audience.
In a first for the orchestra’s free festive evening, Auckland's Mayor Len Brown will take centre stage to lead the audience and choristers in carol singing. The evening’s line-up also includes a performance by talented young vocalist Siobhan Grace.
This popular Christmas show is a family-friendly event and is guaranteed to bring cheer to the upcoming holiday season.
