Darcy Nicholas of Pataka Museum of Arts and Cultures will facilitate a forum with maori and non-maori guest artists to explore their ideas and processes; their commonalities and differences. Nicholas will also explore their work in relation to the earth mother, Papatuanuku, and sky father, Ranginui.
Artists will include: Jeanne Macaskill, Craig Potton, Diane Prince and Colleen Urlich.
Will be followed by a cuppa with the artists and an artist's talk by Craig Potton at 4pm.
The NZ Academy of Fine Arts gallery is on Queens Wharf, opposite the Museum of Wellington City and Sea.
