Ans Westra, Fat Freddy's Drop

{Suite} Westra Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of images made by Ans Westra in 2005 whilst on tour with Fat Freddy’s Drop.

In 2005 Fat Freddy's Drop approached Westra about taking a series of publicity photographs for one of their music videos and using some of her images from the 1960s. For the multi-cultural Fat Freddys ensemble, Westra's imagery complimented the band's music and shared its distinctly down home Aotearoa vibe. This is the last exhibition that will be held at the {Suite} Westra Gallery on Oriental Parade prior to the lease ending at this site.

Members of Fat Freddy's Drop and Ans Westra will be in attendance at the opening.
