Ranya Renee, one of New York City’s most sought-after belly dance performers and teachers, is joined by dancers from around New Zealand to raise money for Christchurch, in a relaxed evening of Middle Eastern sounds and moves!
This event, sponsored by MEDANZ, will be in aid of the Christchurch Mayor's Welfare Fund Charitable Trust. The Mayor’s Welfare Earthquake Relief Fund, formed from donations, provides assistance to Christchurch residents experiencing financial difficulties from the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes. Demand is still so high that the fund has had to suspend applications, so this money is very much needed. All profit will be donated.
